Bigfoot Shuttle is a lifted 1990 Ford Aerostar owned by Bigfoot 4x4 from 1985-2002 and is now owned by an undisclosed owner who had the truck restored. Despite its size, it has run against monster trucks and monster tanks.
History[]
The truck debuted in 1985 and began performing for the TV-1 filming of the "Return of the Monster Trucks", similar to Ms. Bigfoot, the truck ran 48" tires. Outside of its frame and some running gear, the Shuttle was fairly stock, as stated by Bob Chandler. The truck's primary purpose was to be a training vehicle for upcoming drivers to get them used to high center of gravity and rear steering. It was used mostly in small events, displays, and or parades, sometimes actually competing at events, Houston 1987 being a best example. Like Ms. Bigfoot, Ford would urge all Bigfoot's to be blue by the end of 1987, and the Shuttle would go from a two-tone brown and tan, to two blues.
It would not be used much for a long time and eventually was sold in 2002 to a private owner. It was sold again around 2013 and restored. It is currently owned by Terry Woodcock.
