Monster Trucks Wiki

Bigfoot Ranger is a 1990 Ford Ranger owned by Bigfoot 4x4. The truck was originally built as Ms. Bigfoot in 1985, before being converted in 1987. It would not be used as often as Bigfoot would use 4, 6 and 7 to train newer drivers.

History[]

1987[]

Ms. Bigfoot was renamed to Bigfoot Ranger out of Ford’s request to repaint the truck dark blue to match with the other trucks.

1988[]

At the Indy Jamboree, Ken Koelling took it for a rather aggressive and bouncy run, known at Bigfoot as the "Ranger Dance".

1993[]

The truck was sold to Chandler Lloyd, who would use several major components to build Lil' Truck.

2021[]

Chris Gibson takes the truck out of storage, and displayed it at the Bigfoot Open House on September 25th, 2021. At the time its body was in weathered but decent condition and restoration was underway.

2024[]

On June 15th, the truck was restored and makes its return, being displayed at the Bigfoot Open House.

The name would be taken off however due to licensing and copyright, so the truck can do displays but not with the name.
