Awesome Kong ® was a Ford monster truck owned and driven by Rex Smith. It originally was a 1988 rear engine Chevrolet monster truck built by Jeff Dane and his crew. It was then sold to Rex Smith in 1995 with the name Awesome Kong® on loan for the next 3 years. It was then turned into Fatal Beauty. The second chassis was formerly The Hammer. The Hammer chassis would be sold to Australia where it would run as Monster Patrol USA, before being re-bodied and became various other trucks.
