Ashley Sanford (Born January 14th) is a monster truck driver out of Fullerton, California. She is a current driver of Megalodon since 2023. She is the first woman to drive the truck, debuting before Mikayla Tulachka.
Career[]
Ashley made her debut in Spokane in December of 2022.
In 2023, her first career win would come in one of the donut contests in Wichita. Brandon Arthur would fill-in for her in Tucson. She would finish 6th on Arena Tour West. At the World Finals in Nashville, she would win rookie of the year along with Chris Koehler in Monster Mutt. While her truck was traveling to San Jose, along with Scooby Doo!, the trailer caught fire. There were no injuries. Scooby Doo! & Megalodon would compete on Team Throttle Monster chassis & were driven by Team Throttle Monster drivers.
In 2024, Ashley began competing on the west arena tour again. She finished 5th. In Salt Lake City, she did her first backflip, thus getting her first freestyle win. In Tacoma, she won both Sunday donut competitions on her birthday. She would not compete in Denver. Loghan Ashline would drive Megalodon in her place. She got her first racing win at show 2 in Albany. She would be invited to compete in the Last Chance Qualifying event at the World Finals.
In 2025, she will yet again compete on the west arena tour. Chelsea VanCleave drove for her in Columbus due to family reasons. Ashley would finish 6th in the final standings. She will once again compete in the LCQ at the World Finals.
