Mason "Army" Armstrong is a retired monster truck announcer and broadcaster out of Owensboro, Kentucky. He was best known for being one of the first monster truck commentators beginning in the 1980’s and 90's during the TNT and PENDA era. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest monster truck commentators of all time.
In 2009, Army was inducted into the Kentucky Motorsports Hall of Fame.
In 2013, Army was also inducted into the International Monster Truck Hall of Fame.
In 2022, Army returned to co-commentate the TNT Motorsports: Unfinished Business event with Scott Douglass.

- The nickname Army came from his service with the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division, riding in helicopters with his unit during the Vietnam War.
- Army was also a drag racer.
- Armstrong would provide the voiceovers for Monster Truck Madness 2.
- In 1989, during the Raleigh episode, Armstrong interviewed Dennis Taft about his monster truck models. Taft would later create the monster truck photo album.
