Andy Slifko (Born December 3rd, 1960) is a retired monster truck owner and driver out of Pottsville, Pennsylvania. He was the owner and driver of Eradicator and was also the owner of Backdraft from 2004-2014 under The Zone LLC name. He is the father of Jeremy Slifko.
Career[]
Before getting into monster trucks, Andy was a drag racer before he started driving monster trucks in 1994. In 2004, Andy got a white SUV body with purple & orange flames. He also won that year's Most Improved Team award.
In 2005, Andy's truck got a burn from a trailer fire. He also drove Hot Wheels in Montreal, and purchased Backdraft from Rick Disharoon.
In 2006, Andy ran a brand-new black body.
From 2008-2010, Andy ran a black pickup body.
In 2008, Andy's son Jeremy began driving.
After a donut attempt in Atlanta 2009, the truck would get up on two wheels & balance there for several seconds, before coming back down.
In 2011, Andy's son Jeremy got a freestyle win in Orlando and would compete in that year's World Finals.
In 2013, Andy ran a white body with a pink chassis. After that, he stopped driving. His operation was sold to Paul Breaud. Eradicator would become Muddy Girl Camo.
