American Gladiators was a Chevrolet monster truck owned and driven by Dan Patrick. The truck ran from 1993-1994. It was his first fully fiberglass bodied monster truck and ran on the former Samson 2 chassis. The truck was sponsored by the American competition show of the same name. The body was the inspiration for Dan Patrick's famous "Chevy Strongarm" body style he would later use for Samson, with the American Gladiators body being directly reused for Samson once the sponsorship ended.
