Alex Bardin (Born March 20th, 1996) is a monster truck driver out of Rockport, Texas. He is the current driver of Earth Shaker and he formerly drove Thunder Chicken, then later El Oso Loco under the alias "Alex Rodriguez" from Mexico. He also drove Stone Crusher in 2024.
Career[]
Alex began driving in 2018, driving Thunder Chicken, before it was converted into El Oso Loco.
In 2019, Alex made his Monster Jam debut, driving Red Baron for 2Xtreme Racing as the teammate to Jeff Souza's Jekyll & Hyde in Salinas, then later drove Bounty Hunter as the teammate to Tanner Root.
In 2022, Alex drove Outlaw in Coldwater, Michigan & Union Grove, Wisconsin.
In 2023, Alex started driving the new Shark Attack for Harper Motorsports.
In 2024, Alex made his first quarter debut in Monster Jam driving Stone Crusher on Arena Championship Series Central as the teammate to Frank Krmel's Zombie on Hooked. He would grab a racing win during one of the Pittsburgh shows and finished in 6th place on the central arena tour. He would grab his first freestyle win in Southaven and land his second backflip in that same event. He later drove Just Get Er Done II in Duluth and Savannah, Georgia since Brandan was driving Megalodon because Mikayla went back to nursing school. He would briefly drive JGED II again in Hampton, then come back again in Dayton.
In 2025, Alex would leave Monster Trucks Unlimited and join Team Throttle Monster. He became the new driver of Earth Shaker on Wrecking Machine and competes on Arena Championship Series West. In Salt Lake City show 2, he would get injured in a backflip attempt, resulting in numerous drivers to fill-in for him on the season. Alex returned to driving in June, driving Rockwell R.E.D for a Monster Truck Throwdown event in Salinas, California. He would make his return to Monster Jam the following weekend in Austin, back in Earth Shaker.
