Alan Vaughan is a driver out of South Muskham, Nottinghamshire, currently driving Slingshot. He is the nephew of the late Karl Swallow.
Career[]
Alan began being involved in monster trucks as young as age 10, helping his uncle build his street legal truck Devil's Playmate, as well as helping in the construction of Slingshot. Over the years, Alan served as a crew member for the Slingshot team.
In July 2012, Karl Swallow tragically passed away and Alan took over the driving duties. He was aged only 18 at the time, thereby becoming the youngest European monster truck driver. Since then, Alan has driven Slingshot in every one of the truck's appearances.

- Since taking over the driving duties, Alan has only rolled Slingshot over a total of four times.
