5 Alarm is a custom fire truck monster truck made by Hot Wheels for the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks series based on the Hot Wheels car of the same name. Currently, there are 3 versions competing, with them being driven by Cody Holman, Joe Cypher and Ty Cornelius Jr.
History[]
2020[]
5 Alarm was initially released as a diecast.
2021[]
5 Alarm was included in the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live category, revealing that 5 Alarm would be introduced as a competing truck in the 2021 Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live series, although would be delayed until 2023.
2023[]
On August 25th, the truck made its competition debut with both Kreg Christensen and Cody Holman, running the body on their trucks Dragon Slayer and Stealth respectively. 5 Alarm would replace Race Ace in the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live lineups.
2024[]
Joe Cypher begins driving the truck on his Airborne Ranger chassis, which is accommodated with hand controls due to him being paralyzed from a motorcycle accident in 1989.
In April, Anthony Ritter drove the truck in Mexico City, Mexico.
In June, Jason Court drove the truck in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. That same month, Kreg Christensen began driving Tiger Shark interchangeably with 5 Alarm.
In July, Ty Cornelius Jr. joined the team, running the body on his Backdraft chassis, which he had been running previously as Mega-Wrex.
In August, Kreg moved to Tiger Shark for the foreseeable future.
