Trivia[]

  • This event would mark the first Back to School Monster Truck Bash event since 2008 without the Monster Trucks Unlimited Team (Stone Crusher and Hooked).
    • This would be due to the team being booked for a show in Cortland, Ohio the same week of the show.
  • This event would mark the first Back to School Monster Truck Bash event under a brand new sponsorship, Cook Out.
  • Jurassic Attack and Terminal Velocity would both have one of the most memorable double crashes in Monster Truck History. Jurassic Attack would lose power going up to the crossover jump, and would nosedive straight into the bus, destroying the front end. Moments later, Terminal Velocity’s rear steer cylinder gave out just moments before the truck crossed the finish line, sending the truck off the corner of the final ramp, and into a barrel roll, almost completely dismembering the rear end.
    • As a result, both trucks would be unable to compete in Freestyle, due to the extensive damage.
  • Dirt Crew would not compete in freestyle due to oil pressure issues.
  • During the round 1 race between Toxic and Block Head, Toxic would have front steering issues halfway into the race, and would not be able to compete for the rest of the night.
  • During Uproar's qualifying pass, the truck would lose front-wheel drive, resulting in a DNQ.
    • However, the truck would be able to compete for the rest of the night, despite having no front-wheel drive.
