Trivia[]
- This marked the first season for Hunter Souza, Mikayla Tulachka, Ashley Sanford and Jamie Sullivan. It also marked the first quarter stadium debut for Team Scream drivers Chris Koehler (originally scheduled to compete last year, but dropped out due to going to college) and Joe Foley. This also marked the first season for Frank Krmel since 2016, Bailey Shea since 2017, Brandan Tulachka since 2020, Linsey Read since 2021, and Colt Stephens since 2020.
- David Olfert was originally planned to compete on Stadium Series Red to make his first quarter stadium debut, but would be moved back into Arena Championship Series West. Travis Mowery (who was originally planned to compete in the Arena Series East tour) would end up taking his place instead. Dalton Widner & Jurassic Attack (who was planned to compete in Arena Series West) would compete in the East tour in place of Mowery & Velociraptor.
- During the schedule announcement, it was revealed that the Marvel contract had been renewed and that Marvel themed trucks would be returning, both domestically in the US and internationally.
- During the original reveal, Spider-Man (Rebranded as The Amazing Spider-Man in April) would be the first truck confirmed to be returning, via Scott Jordan. However, announcements of more trucks were pushed back until April 25th of 2023, where Iron Man, Thor, and Black Panther were revealed. The trucks made their debut on July 15th for the London event.
- The Arena Series Central lineup was accidentally leaked a few weeks before the 2023 Schedule Announcement. The lineup was originally seen when the Greensboro shows were added to the tickets page on Monster Jam's website early. It was later removed before the official reveal.
- This season marked Monster Jam's debut at Snapdragon Stadium, it being the third San Diego stadium venue used for Monster Jam.
- Linsey Read was originally planned to drive Monster Mutt Dalmatian, as the original Warner Bros. contract had ended, causing Scooby-Doo! to potentially be retired at the end of 2022. However, the contract would be renewed, allowing the truck to continue running.
- This marks the first sponsor truck owned by FELD Motorsports to be able to run for an eleventh season.
- During the schedule announcement, Leslie Mears would reveal that more events are planned to be added for Stadium Series Blue.
- Stadium Series Red marks the sixth consecutive point series where Adam Anderson and Bryce Kenny competed alongside each other.
- Travis Mowery's Velociraptor ran an alternate paint scheme to David Olfert's truck, featuring a blue body with green teeth and nails.
- This marked the second year that Hooked uses another truck's body for a points series, the first being 2018, where it ran as El Toro Loco.
- Originally during the 2023 Schedule Announcement stream, all of the lineups were incomplete, leaving out numerous spots in all tours.
- Scott Jordan assured that all completed lineups would be revealed during the Driver's Summit in November. However, this turned out to be false, as sources revealed that the completed lineups would instead be revealed on Weekly Update videos in December.
- During the Inside Monster Jam Podcast episode with John Saponaro and Matt Isbill, a portion of the episode revealed the full Stadium Championship Series Blue tour, revealing the final spot to be Colt Stephens driving ThunderROARus.
- For unknown reasons on the Monster Jam website, the shows with Hunter Souza, Tristan England & Peter Nyman have the truck listed as TBD. Earth Shaker was also listed as having a space between the words on the website. The results would have Earth Shaker listed with whoever was driving that weekend.
- Both stadium tours had a competitor be out for the first shows, being Max-D in Oakland (due to a blown engine) and Shaker in San Diego (due to smoke coming out of the engine). Both of these incidents would occur during intros. Unlike Oakland, however, due to there being a second show in San Diego, Shaker would compete in it, but not freestyle.
- The first two shows for Stadium Tour Red would be a mudbath, making the tracks very slippery. The Anaheim show would be joined by the Blue Stadium Tour's second show in San Diego.
- During the second San Diego event for Stadium Championship Series Blue, event officials would make two very controversial call, regarding John Gordon's skills run on night one, calling the run done after recovering from a failed bicycle, and Tyler Menninga's freestyle run at show two, shutting him off and calling his run finished, after pulling off a rollover save from a bad rebound (with the truck receiving zero mechanical damage).
- Ryan Anderson would later on call out the officials during a post-show interview for the call to end Tyler's run.
- The Sunday afternoon show at Hampton, VA did not hold a donut competition for unknown reasons.
- Similarly, the Providence shows from Saturday afternoon to Sunday didn't hold a donut competition, due the the nature of the dirt used in that venue.
- None of the shows held in Hidalgo held a donut competition.
- All three Macon shows would not hold a donut competition.
- The 4 shows in Hamilton, Ontario did not do a donut contest.
- Paul Jensen was scheduled to fill in for Travis Mowery for St. Louis, due to Travis' wife expecting their second child. However, Travis would end up competing at that event. Travis, however (for unknown reasons), is still listed as the driver for Velociraptor at that event when looking on the results page for Miami.
- The Miami, Minneapolis, Jacksonville & Philadelphia events for Stadium Championship Series Red would use the St. Louis Style track design and racing format.
- Paul Jensen would fill in for an injured Dalton Widner for the Sunday afternoon show at Newark, while Jensen's truck (Travis Mowery's Velociraptor) suffered engine problems over at Miami. This would be the only instance where a driver would compete at two events from separate tours in the same week.
- Similar to the previous years' points series, every tour would have at least one fill-in driver to compete for an event.
- This would mark the first year since 2018 where Travis Mowery would compete on a stadium tour for the first quarter.
- In Minneapolis at show 2, Tom Meents won racing for the first time in almost a year & a half. He would give an emotional tribute to his dad Bill, who had then recently passed away.
- Jester's green body would make its return for the remaining events in Stadium Championship Series Red.
- All the winners in racing round 1 in Detroit would mess up before crossing the finish line.
- During intros in one of the Louisville shows, Get Er Done Second Generation would roll over.
- In Hidalgo, racing became timed racing after show 1.
- In Nampa, Idaho, there was only a donut contest at show 1.
- In Albuquerque, Earth Shaker & Velociraptor were in the final race at all 4 shows with Velociraptor winning the first 3.
- Shaker and Bad Company would debut a new design in Seattle.
- In Seattle, Son Uva Digger is no longer sponsored by Hoonigan. Arlington would be the last show as a sponsor.
- Due to severe weather, the Friday night event in Southaven would have to be postponed to Sunday night.
- In Austin, Texas, Tristan England in Earth Shaker became the first driver to do a backflip at the Moody Center. Also, for the skills challenge, drivers got 3 attempts instead of the normal two.
- In Inglewood, Stadium Tour Blue used the St. Louis track for the first time all year.
- In London, United Kingdom, 4 Marvel trucks made their debut/redebut. The only debut of those 4 was Black Panther.
- In Salt Lake City for Stadium Tour Blue, Shaker's skills challenge attempt ended up in the stands of Rice Eccles Stadium.
- In Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, only show 1 out of 4 held a donut contest.
- The Black Pearl would miss the whole show at East Rutherford.
- Manchester, New Hampshire would be the only show in the Arena East tour where Weston Anderson would not win at least one overall event championship.
- For the Stadium Tour Blue finale in Kansas City, the St. Louis style format was used for just the second time all year.
- Joe Foley & Axe won his first & only competition on the blue stadium tour, that being freestyle in Kansas City, which was the final show of the tour.
- This would be Elvis Lainez' final competitive season, before he was released in October after a bicycle attempt resulted in him tapping the wall in Hampton.
- In Spokane, a relay race competition makes its debut.
- Certain shows that did not have a donut contest would feature a sky wheelie contest instead. Drivers would get one attempt as well as in the Great Clips skills challenge.
