Trivia[]
- This series marked the the first of the following occurrences:
- The first season (since 2017) in which Tristan England and the only one where Justin Sipes did not win the Triple Threat Series (not counting 2019 since he ran on a stadium tour).
- This series marked the only season in which Preston Pérez competed in the Triple Threat Series.
- This series marked the final season for the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series altogether, as it would not return for 2022, being replaced by three Arena Championship Series.
- The Monster Jam website mistakenly showed Matt Cody driving Black Stallion for Charlotte.
- During the Friday show in Uniondale, drivers did not compete in a donut competition for unknown reasons. A few weeks later, all Wilkes-Barre and Allentown shows did not feature a donut competition, due to venue restrictions.
- Despite having three events without pit parties, the Allentown events did not have the option of a post-event meet and greet for the extra fee. This was due to a contract agreement stating only Ticketmaster can sell them and the PPL Center mainly sells tickets through its own site.
- Travis Pastrana made an appearance at the Baltimore stop for the Triple Threat Series East.
- Tyler Menninga was the only series champion of the entire 2020 Triple Threat Series season to officially be declared the champion, due to the series ending in February.
- All events happening between the dates of March 13 and April 30, 2020 were either cancelled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the World Finals eventually being cancelled on March 27, 2020 and being delayed to May 21 and 22, 2022.)
