The 2009 Back to School Monster Truck Bash was the 10th annual event of the Back to School Monster Truck Bash held at The Dirt Track at Lowe’s Motor Speedway (Now known as Charlotte Motor Speedway) in Charlotte, North Carolina on August 15th, 2009. Mike Hawkins in Equalizer would win both the racing and freestyle competitions for the second year in a row. This event would see the introduction of the over-under-style racing course, which has continued to be used for Back To School Bash events to this day.
